Fun Weekend

It has been a busy but fun last couple of weeks. My cousin Michele came into town early so that we could hang out together. The first thing we did was go to the temple. It was a beautiful day and it was a great experience to be together in the temple. After the temple we went to Michele's cousins, Adele's. Adele's baby is about 2 months old. He is so cute. Two days later we went out to Mosida Lodge for our family reunion, which was a blast. When we got home from the reunion we cleaned up the house and started preparing for my farewell. On Sunday I spoke in church (if you didn't or couldn't make it I will post a link with my talk) about testimony. I thought it went really well. It was so fun to have every one over and to see old family and friends that I hadn't seen in awhile!

Reunion Fun

Last week we had our family reunion. This year my family was in charge, so it was a little hectic but alot of fun! I loved planning the crafts and look forward to doing it in the future. Some of the things that we did was a trek, dancing, kids crafts and adult crafts, hikes, family movies nights, a fireside, and lots of eating! It was so nice to see everyone, especially those that live far away. I am so grateful for my family and the support we give one another. I am also so thankful for my mother and all the work she did for the reunion. We couldn't have done it without her. I am thankful for her example and the choice she has made.

Life moves so fast!!

My life has seems to move so fast. As I am continually preparing for a mission, every day is filled with something that needs to be done. I never really have anything big to do but I fill like a have a million little errands. On top of these little errands I want to be with my family whenever I can before my mission. Last night my amazing sister-in-law, Deedra, made dinner for me. Both of my brothers and their wives live in the same apartment complex now. It is really nice because it makes everything central. Ryan and Sam also came for dinner. After dinner the girls decided to watch a chick flick. The boys had other plans so they went to Ryan's to do whatever guys do. The girls got to keep Hunter though because I wouldn't let him go. It was hard to watch the movie with Hunter wanting to play with me though. After the movie I was able to put Hunter into bed. He is such a sweetheart. He defiantly holds a soft spot in my heart. I am so thankful for a good family! Todd and Deedra mean alot to me and I was so happy to be able to spend the evening with them.
